The President of the Arab Chinese Cooperation and Development Association, Mr. Kassem Toufaily, has returned from his visit to China. During his visit, he met with representatives from the China Foundation for Peace and Development, China NGO Network for International Exchanges, and Silk Road NGO Cooperation Network to support the needs of the people of Lebanon.

An agreement was signed to provide assistance, including healthcare, to ensure medication for chronic diseases, to help young people by providing them with robotics and artificial intelligence learning tools to encourage them to learn these skills, and to provide handicrafts and some vocational tools such as embroidery, carpentry, and leather products. Finally, Chinese language, calligraphy, and culture will be taught to the local community, in addition to Chinese chess with training courses at the association’s headquarters organized in cooperation with other organizations.

The Arab Chinese Cooperation and Development Association will work with Fraternity Association for Social
Culture Work in Lebanon, as well as some Lebanese health, social, and education associations, to announce the start of the aid program soon.

The association invited Chinese organizations supporting this project to visit Lebanon, to closely understand the social, economic, educational, and health conditions, and to discuss future projects and methods for providing necessary assistance in the current difficult environment.
